Deep
into the
bowels
of time.
Immersing.
Melding.
Sinking.
Submerging,
deeper
and
deeper.
Futile
attempts
of immortality. 
Crushed
by the
passage.
Layer
after
layer.
Sedimentary
time.
Deeper
and
deeper.
Below,
frozen
time.
Above
fading light.
Digital
artifacts.
Digital
fossils.
Remnants
of reality,
long ago.
Never
to be
found.
Never
to be
seen again
