I believe we are watching the legacy of Goebbels being played out now in real time in this digital media age. Areas of society being brainwashed because they lack the curious nature to know and research truth from actual reputable sources. They have placed their faith in disreputable people instead of applying intellect and even common sense in facts and truth. We live in an age where one can easy research the integrity of their sources of truth but they choose to obliviously follow purveyors of falsehoods. Ignorance is a chose not an excuse. Thank you for this truly illuminating poem.

A stark and truthful statement JP. But I believe that with an honest voice of reason and talented writers such as yourself we may be able to sway a few our way. I feel that at this time in history art has never been more important and needed for the survival of society. You and other important writers are picking up and continuing the highly valued work of those artists of the 60s during their revolution. Now more then ever we have a vital importance to speak our truth to this crumbling world we live in. And when you feel it may not be enough remember the voices of those who inspired your art and how they struggled to be heard during their time. Write as they did to help a generation be better. And never doubt in your voice and your art. Because you are a talent.
