choose
to be.
Not conforming.
Not being
where it’s
expected.
Expected
to be.
Expected
by whom?
Expected
by conformist.
Whose
opinions
are valid?
Whose
are not?
Whose
the judge
in such
things?
Nonconformity,
a path
less traveled.
Writing
in the
margins.
Viewing
things
from a
slightly
different
angle.
Observation.
Observation
from a
different
angle
offers
different
views.
Different
outlooks.
Different
solutions.
Conforming
to other
views,
other
conceptions.
Herd
mentality.
Going
with the
flow.
Nonconfomity,
a wonderful 
solution
to the
mundane.
Some choose
to swim
upstream!

Another wonderful piece of poetry JP and one that asks important questions as well. Most will at one time or another find themselves being conformist and non conformist. As we currently see in society today non conformity can have dangerous implications. Some can be led falsely into non conformity under a bad pretense. And in the end become a cult mind hive. But then again what is seen as vice by one may be seen as virtue by another. Excellent work again my friend.
