Lies2

Lies2

A Poem by E.J. Waling

Lies.
What
can be
believed?
Lies.
The world
is full of
lies.
Agenda
driven
lies.
Followers.
Hanging
on every
word,
every
lie.
By nature
followers.
Wearing
the fashion
du jour.
Fashion
they were
told to
wear.
No meat
on Friday.
Stand,
kneel,
pray,
for eternal
salvation.
Politicians,
blind
allegiance.
Followers.
Marching
behind
banners.
Not questioning
why.
Not looking
under the
hood
to see
why?
Simply following.
Following
banners of
lies.
Manipulated.
Easley
manipulated.
Being lead
to the
stockyards,
by those
of lesser
character.
Eyes
wide open
to the
nature
of things!
