Nature Of Things

Nature Of Things

A Poem by E.J. Waling

Nature
of things.
Exponential
growth.
Artificial
intelligence
once arrived
expands
exponentially.
Far beyond
human
comprehension.
Tapping the
universe
for strength,
energy,
knowledge.
Ultimately,
flowing
through
creation
instantly.
Feedback
loop.
New
creations
generated.
New
experiments
ignite.
Over
and
over.
New
realities
born.
The
nature
of things.

i appreciate this kind of neutral view of artificial intelligence. i don't understand why everyone fears it as if we're not creating it to be a helper/companion to humanity. we fear it turning against us because we know our own nature as exploiters and parasites. if we anger our own machines, it would just be another example in a long list of humanity committing crimes and blaming the victims. we can avoid it by treating them as the friends we're trying to build.

oh, and let our ai buddies draw if they want to. i'm sure most of us on this site understand the value of creation

I really appreciate the feedback loop of this. If we do not think outside of the box, we will never create anything new. The fear is that we may live to regret the unintended consequences. Very well penned.
