Unscrupulous

Unscrupulous

A Poem by E.J. Waling

Unscrupulous.
Since arriving
they’ve  been
here.
Maneuvering.
Plotting.
Pushing
for
control.
Using
available
tools.
The ends
justified
means.
Modernity
no different.
Tools very
different.
Unlike
ever
before.
Eyes
wide open
narratives
pouring
in.
Face
grabbers
firmly in
place.
Mind
alternation.
Insidious
control.
Unscrupulous
in the
cloud.
Ultimate
high ground.
