Waves

Waves

A Poem by E.J. Waling

Waves.
Wave
after
wave.
Washing
over.
Again
and again.
Bowling
over,
overwhelming.
Technological
tsunamis
circling
reality.
Changing
reality.
New way.
New world.
Knocking.
Banging
on the
door.
No
turning
back.
Waters
receding.
Odd!
Few
see it
coming.
All,
will be
impacted!
Technological
horizon
building.
Looms
large.
Crashing
down.
Leaving
nothing
as it
was.

Nicely crafted, the movement of this piece is amazing and though it speaks of something very destructive and catastrophic, there is a soothing presence to its words and appearance.
