Wasteland

Wasteland

A Poem by E.J. Waling

Wasteland.
Digital
wasteland.
Digital
pollution,
sludge.
Mucking
minds.
Altering
thought.
Death of
innocence.
Anxiety,
tension
induced.
Confusion
reigns.
What to
believe?
Cesspool
of information.
Inundation.
Useless
information.
Faster and
faster
it flows.
Overwhelming
thought,
reason.
Pitting
one against
another.
Digital
grip.
Tightening.
Loss of
balance,
equilibrium.
Personal
control.
Understanding.
Simplicity
gone,
a thing
of the
past.
Beware
the truth
merchants.
