Molded

Molded

A Poem by E.J. Waling

Molded.

Form.

End result.

Unstructured

clay.

Soft.

Malleable.

Formless.

Years.

Years

in the

making.

Manipulated.

Pounded.

Stretched.

Twisted.

Rolled

over and

over.

Hardening

over

time.

Each

unique.

Chiseled.

Cut.

Shaved

away.

Environmentally

fashioned.

From

origin,

unrecognizable.

Amplified.

Survival.

End result

dependent.

Lessons

learned,

final

outcome.
