As Always

As Always

A Poem by E.J. Waling

As always.
From the
beginning.
Leaders.
Followers.
Narrative
driven.
Grabbing
minds,
souls.
Drivers of
obedience.
Religious
rules.
Road to
salvation.
Powerful
control.
Oblivion
focuses
the message.
The few
dictate,
masses
follow.
Power,
wealth.
Control.
Harvested
at the
top.
Modernity
replete
with such.
Technology.
Puppet masters
pulling
strings.
Influencing.
Blinding
cloud based
control.
Mandating
allegiance.
Mind
altering
manipulation.
Hypnotized
from above.
Demanding
adherence.
Cloud soaked
coercion,
raining
down.
Saturating.
Hearts and
minds.
The few
controlling
the many.
From the
beginning.

Unfortunately, the situation described here has always been the case. At first it was the priests, who were the only ones who had education, that took control of the superstitious masses. The wealthy also wielded power. In later times politicians and technologists have sought control. It is the way of the world.

So true JB. The masses are easily led unfortunately.
