Noise

Noise

A Poem by E.J. Waling

Noise,
it’s
everywhere.
Nonstop.
Assaulting
the system.
Influencing.
Altering
perceptions.
Subtle and
not.
Changing
directions.
Personal.
Shaping,
rewriting.
Creating
differences.
Why?
Who’s
ideas?
Implanted.
Seeding
intention.
Concepts.
Induced
reactions.
Personal
agency
corrupted.
Blinding,
snuffing
out reason.
Controlled.
Under assault.
Mob
enticement.
Cleaving
populations.
Families.
Divide and
conquer.
Silent
war.
