Out of the darkness comes a light

A breath taking Angel, a beautiful sight.

A hand reaches out and I take hold,

A new path before me begins to unfold.

I take the first steps, my heart it pounds.

The blood rushing through me the only sounds.

There he stands my guiding star.

The savior of my broken heart.

I turn to see the darkness grow.

Engulfed in demons is the world I used to know.

Now you and I walk hand in hand,

Towards the light, the promised land.

My heart I give to you to hold.

My dreams I watch as they unfold.

My Angel, my love, my guiding light,

I am forever yours until the end of time.

It's a very good poem... and I know why the last two lines don't rhyme... and it's OK. :)

i agree on the last two lines..make them rhyme or at least use near rhyme...that would be good...

but this love poem transcends to the spiritual...the strongest kind of love.
