"Walking Through A Field ...of thoughts."

 

I came by to pause again
…and taste the sun...
strange how the scents change to suit
the where and when we are
each who we are
how we …are
and so few seem to notice.

we are often told to "stop and smell the roses".. but you are right.. few of us really do except on occasion.. or perhaps in time.. is it an aquired taste.. one that must be cultivated.. and maybe we need some one.. or thing.. to nudge us into that cultivation..

Cornflower blue skyways with cotton candy filaments... and John Wayne echoes of "Yo Pilgrim..." and soft silly smiles. Such fields of thoughts and think on the stirring of pollen and dust motes swirling and the tastes of ...well that's another poem.

Is this to say... you must stop and elaborate on life... and count to ten... and feel what you're walking into... Open the eyes a bit and focus... there's more to life than just waking up and going to bed... and the dread of work for the average Joe... Relax... take a breath...the O2 levels are not going to get any better... enjoy them while you still have time...
