I paused with Sharonlee's thoughts...

I close my eyes and see

so much more than there always just was

- the magyk within

each breath and dream...

fingertips rustling the wind...

rainbows in raindrops,

all the echoes

in the tears I've shed and

in those I've softly brushed away.

I've shared haunted moments

and darknesses too.

Tasted life-happens as only IT does.

Been the last to walk ...away -

the last smile standing...

as the sun ...sets just THERE beyond my fingertips,

THERE - as my breath expands to transparency

and beyond...

petting the Cheshire cat and feeling it purrrrr...

I am smiling. I loved this. You've got to know how beautiful it is. Rainbows in Raindrops - wow, I read it twice and the imagery was wonderful. My mind said yes, I've done that, I've felt that. Thank you so much. I wrote a knew poem, Ten Toes and tried to be descriptive, like a poet should, but don't like what I've done. I may do better just letting my mind flow. You are very talented. What you did with ten toes - worked. It struck chords within and the gestalt flowed. Don't overwork your thoughts - let us "hear" your voice and what you want to say - not just listen to cutesy, strung together pretty words.
