Fighting, clawing, struggling, striving

For what?

Yearning, burning, tossing, turning

Why?

Suffering, hurting, mind awhirling

To what end?

Dreams and goals, plans and hopes

End in nothing.

Thoughts, ideas, opinions, perceptions

End in silence

Living, loving, caring, sharing

go unremembered,

What purpose life?

What meaning strife?

How can death be worse than life?
