Lunacy High

I wrote this along time ago, but basically explains why I started to write.

This beat banging in my mind
Putting me on a lunacy high
Loving this chaotic grind

May not be the truth but it sure ain’t a lie

 

Why leave this realm free of sin?

Why converge with this harsh reality?

I won’t cheat this game to win
Just use wits to beat insecurity

 

I’ll smile and lie in the grass
Contained in illusional clarity

Watch the clouds in the sky pass
Avoid the vortex of calamity

 

To share this peace with others?
Should I not conceal this tranquil virtue?

Pages filled between covers
Explaining moments of time they can’t view

 

I don’t seek fame or the sort
Signing on the dotted line with the seal
This is for my friends support
To show them the bliss they deserve to feel
