My ballroom has a basement

My ballroom has a basement

A Poem by Andy Lewis
"

Her life after me.

"
"I've know a couple of suicides, i always felt that we should've done something.
I don't know what? Maybe we should've tried harder?
But i always felt we failed them somehow.
I reckon we failed them, somehow"
…….….….….….….….…….….….…….…….….….….….….….….….….….
Faded like an old photographed memory, burning like the fall leaves prepared for snow.
Her hands colder than mine.
Just a hand is all she needed.
but broken souls are always mistaken for soldiers of a feather game.
Adrift on the wind, then never again.
- Black eyeliner tear-

Both poem are very good. First poem question is asked by many. I lost two brothers to suicide. We always wonder could we have done something to change the path. Thank you Andy for sharing the excellent poetry.
