Dear Flora

Blossom and bloom, my flora sweet

Send your roots to rivers deep

Gently wave at breeze’s tug

Unfurling petals, skyward hug

You cannot see, nor yet perceive

The souls that watch your heart believe

And as you grow, they see the ways

You stretch towards the sunlit rays

The beaming beauty you behold

Lights your world with streams of gold

And over time, you grow reflections

Of the One of your affections

So flower blossom, flower bloom

And gift the world His sweet perfume
