Aware yet so blind

this is a poem i wrote to someone i have developed feelings for and pretty much just expressed how they pay attention to other women that are interested in them yet seem to manage missing me

Every time I feel down
Your words pull me up

Every time I feel like I am drowning
Your comfort always saves me

No matter what I am going through
You are always there

But somehow....
You are blind...

You are aware of everyone else around you
You are aware of those that care for you,
Love you

You are aware of women
Wanting you, chasing you

As you are aware
That you want them and chase them back

But yet you are still blind

How can someone who cares so much
Who puts their heart on the line all the time

Not see the one person
Standing in front of them

Bleeding,
Hurting

Heart breaks
Voice cracks

How can you not truly see
The person in front of you

Who has always been there
Always tried to look out for you

Even putting their heart on the line
For you

You are aware
Yet so blind

That the person you don't really see
Is me...
