Can we pretend that airplanes

In the night sky

Are like shooting stars?

I could really use a wish right now

If I could have one wish

Any wish at all

It would be

Not to let anyone

So easily hurt me

If I had that wish

It would save so many tears

So many heartaches

I wouldn't be

Crying right now

So yes, I wish
