Mountain TopA Poem by AngeloRosellThe liquid trickles on down Finding refuge upon my scalp Slowly finding it's way, down my neck Blood thirsty tears of savages Staining my skin, a rustic paint Rolling down my vertical spine Reminding who I am Perpendicular I stand A mountain has sprouted Right from the ground, Mother earth Towering above the clouds Connecting earth to the above A bridge between gaps Dreams to reality Demons do try, act as a foe To knock me down with a hard blow Yet the angels above all know The brains a vessel , Will at Mind Constructs a veil glossy and finished Steers the mind combined with the body Climbing the mountain all the way Whispers from angels, telling me to stay Approaching the top one will see A large golden gate, open and welcome Etched in perfect lettering Carved by the one himself Baring the most sought out word Desired by all, reached by so few Heaven
