Womens Day

This poem celebrates the role women's play in our society and their importance which we often ignore. Hope you like it!

The giver of life
Living out there as
A sweet daughter; loving girlfriend;
Sister or a dutiful wife.

Teaching great lessons of life
Through things so very small;
Making you laugh when you can't at all.

As a friend;as a foe or as a wisher In disguise.
They teach you a lot; making you always feel right.

Thanks to you for making me a bit more wise
So that I may pay my debt and wish you by surprise.

This day is for you; your kindness; love and smile so cute
Keep blossoming upwards in the sky so high;
Living happily through sorrows and joy.

I'm a well wisher wishing you on your way;
'A very happy Women's Day'.

I liked it, I have to admit though that I don't understand the YOU point of view in every line. Is "Making you laugh when you can't at all." the same YOU as "Thanks to you for making me a bit more wise"? Other than that it has a good lesson we all should remember, thank you for sharing.
