Wishing I was near a star, I see your face looking at me.

Looking at the birds I wished I could be as free as one when I saw your face.

Reading a romance novel, I wished I had true love, and you embraced me.

Then I wished for you to be my friend forever and you complied as if it was an easy task.

Is there anything I could give back to someone as wonderful as you?

Hm... Interesting piece. If he truely does love you, being your friend forever should be an easy task. Because then he wouldnt have to put up with anything he doesnt like. Maybe you could ask him what you can do to give back? Or maybe he will say you shouldnt give anything back... Good piece though. Short too. But I enjoyed it.
