I Am Not the Person I Used to Be

The poems I right are spontaneous. They come from thoughts in my mind, just words about a thought. Not necessarily following any particular "rule" of poem writing.

I am not the same person I used to be
I look back ten years ago
And see a whole old me

To be more open, loving, and accepting

I think if we all look back over the years, none of us are the person we used to be.

When we finally pick up that lens - everything starts to look different and thats when we change - when we look at life through a lens.
