The Voice They Never HeardA Poem by Munira_linesO the fire
she felt a fire inside- Not loud,
but slow and sure. A whisper
echoing through her chest, “I was
meant for something more.” But hands
reached out to cage her light, Their
smiles lined with disbelief. They
wrapped their words in soft concern And bound her
dreams in grief. “You? You
think you’ll make it far?” They’d
laugh with teeth that bit. And so she
wore her silence well, Too tired
to fight, too proud to quit. But
silence holds a kind of grace, A place to
grow unseen. And in the
dark, she built her name- Not loud,
but fierce and clean. So now she
rises, with steady hands, A voice
they never heard. No need to
shout- she simply lives And let her
silence speak each word. © 2025 Munira_lines |
