A Poem by Annebelle Ashire

I am afraid,
I am but a figment of a dreamer's dream.
My life would be betrayed.
This is how it would seem.

When that dreamer awakes,
I will vanish from this place.
When that dreamer awakes,
You will no longer visit the look upon my face.

I am afraid,
I have no controle over who I am or who I'm not.
The dreamer has all controle,
From what's real and what isn't,
To what's cold and what's hot.
From who's to live,
And who's to rot.

I am afraid,
Of this power with no choice.
I am terrified,
To speak, I have no voice.
