Moonlight Glitch

It was just supposed to be a quiet walk.

Jacob stepped out into the cool night, stretching his arms as he wandered beneath the glow of the full moon. He wasn’t a streamer, just a casual fan of Minecraft content creators. But lately, he’d been binging one channel a lot Pillagerslay3r 64, the sharp-tongued, green-skinned streamer who always brought chaos and charm in equal measure.

Then, the air shifted.

Panel 1:

Jacob stood still, eyes wide. The moon looked too bright. Too round. A weird static hummed in the air, and his fingers started to tingle.

“What the…?”

Panel 2:

His body jerked like a puppet on cut strings. A flash of green surged up his arms.

“What the hell?!” he shouted, stumbling back.

“WHATSSSSSSS happening to me?!” he cried out as his voice warped mid-sentence. A loud HISS escaped his mouth.

His hands flattened into blocky shapes. One eye turned solid black, the other pixelated. His once-brown hair dissolved into neon green code. His body reshaped  thinner, sleeker  and distinctly feminine. His voice shifted….

He dropped to one knee as his mind flickered in static.

Panel 3:

When the glow faded, Jacob was gone.

In his place stood Pillagerslay3r 64, her square head tilted in confusion, her fists clenched.

A floating green chat bubble blinked into view above her:

"WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING HERE?!"
"I'VE GOT VIEWERS TO ENTERTAIN!"

She snarled, glitch lines sparking around her arms.

This wasn’t cosplay. This wasn’t a dream.

Jacob had transformed body, voice, and mind  into the living embodiment of the streamer he used to watch.

Pillagerslay3r 64 had taken over.

And she was not happy about being yanked out of her digital domain.
