Ode to the Girl

Ode to the Girl

A Story by J

My content girl, you inspire me to write.
How I hate the way you hoot, look and call,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the wrong catchall.

Let me compare you to an intent bill?
You are more present, sleepy and creepy.
Fun rains flood the clear fields of April,
And the springtime has the weepy weepy.

How do I hate you? Let me count the ways.
I hate your astute arms, hands and humour.
Thinking of your biting hands fills my days.
My hate for you is the fighting roomer.

Now I must away with a lifelong heart,
Remember my cute words whilst we're apart.
