The most “normal” day at BTBOCESA Story by JA POV story from “Joc”September 25th, 2025, 2:27 P.M. I just got home from another grueling day of school. First, I put my technology into my room, then I flopped face-first onto the couch. That’s when I heard purring. I lifted my head and saw Sneakers being adorable, as usual. My cool sister, who I’ll call Shroast, came home and wished me a happy birthday. I looked up at her. Then another sibling came home, Hannah. She grabbed me so aggressively it spooked Sneakers. “What the hell, Hannah?!” I yelled. Luckily, Mom wasn’t home yet. But Hannah didn’t stop, she threw me onto the couch so hard I swore a bone broke. Unfortunately, Shroast didn’t hear any crack, so I get to suffer tomorrow. Thanks, Tess Holbert. Ugh, I hate Tess. She rambles about Sesame Street 24/7/365. I’d rather be talking with Four than listen to Tess. Because Four actually has powers, skills, and a voice I can nail. Tess’s only power is being annoying. Soon, Mom came home. We had a party, but it wasn’t very big. Eventually, Shroast, Mom, and Hannah went into their rooms. Then I heard knocking at the door. I checked outside, a package was delivered for me. The sender’s address was blurry, but I grabbed the package and headed to my room. I grabbed one of my two pairs of scissors, the blue one, by the way, and opened the package. Inside were three necklaces: one with a creeper-shaped pendant, another shaped like an X, and the third had a Four on it. I put on the first necklace, the creeper one, gullible as usual. I placed my hand over the creeper shape, not knowing what would happen. Poof, I transformed into my sona: half creeper, half profile picture. Just then, Shroast walked in. Pause. “You’re… not a human anymore, Joc,” she said, shock filling her voice. Pause again. “Call me Pillagerslay3r 64 now!” I said. Another pause. “Then call me Slay3r!” I said. Yet another pause as I tested the second necklace. Putting my hand over the human-shaped pendant, I changed back. “Well, as long as I’m in that form,” I said. Time passed, as it always does. It hit 10:00 p.m. - time for bed. September 26th, 2025, 7:00 A.M. I woke up, got ready, and decided to leave my first gift at home. I put the other two necklaces in my backpack without Mom noticing. Distracted, I missed when the van arrived. I grabbed my backpack and iPad, headphones around my neck, and got in. After a few minutes, I arrived at school at 8:00 sharp. Everyone went wild when I entered. In class, I noticed we had a sub. Her name tag read “Ms. O.” No way. I thought I left her behind when I was ten, way back at Chenango Forks. But nope, she was back. I was so dead. Luckily, she hadn’t noticed me yet. I sneakily took out the X necklace and placed it on Tess’s desk. A few minutes later, Tess showed up. “Hello, everyone!” she said, way too loud. Ms. O slapped me on the head. I put the last necklace on Tess’s neck. Being extremely gullible, she put hers on first. “Tess, can we talk?” I asked. We stepped out into the hallway. “Tess, I want to talk about the letter after W…” A faint yellow light glowed, one X said. “So, X-rays are weird… why were they made? Who even made them? Some guy named Xerox?” I said. Another faint yellow light, three X. “Why do you only say X?” Tess asked. The yellow light came again, four X. “X is a great letter, Tess,” I replied. Yellow light again, five X. “I’ve never seen an X-ray fish,” I stated. Yellow light, six X. “Why do they call it that?” Tess asked. “I don’t know, never seen an X-ray fish in the wild,” I replied. Yellow light, seven X, shining bright like a diamond. “Woah… pretty…” Tess said, staring. Suddenly, the light grew larger around Tess and then she vanished. “That was a scam…” I muttered. “Can we talk about my favorite show now?” Tess asked, unaware her left hand was turning canary yellow. “Hell no!” I said, running. “Why not?!” she yelled, her hand turning more yellow. “You’re annoying about it!” I yelled back. “Especially about that red guy!” Tess gasped dramatically. “Elmo is not just a red guy!” she yelled. “He’s cute!” “He’s not cute, but you will be,” I said. Suddenly, Tess’s left ring and middle fingers merged into one digit. “What do you mean?” she asked. “You’ll see, X…” I muttered. Her ring and middle fingers became one digit, now four fingers on her left hand instead of five. “Who is X?” she asked, looking at her yellowing arm. “What the heck?!” she yelled, running into a wall, not noticing her right hand was undergoing the same thing. Minutes passed. Both arms were canary yellow now, the color spreading down to her legs. “T-this… hurts…” she whimpered. The yellow spread faster. Her toes merged into one digit. Tess now had four fingers on both hands and no toes. Then her nether region began to wither. “N-not down there…” she whimpered. Eventually, it was gone. “I-I don’t have a gender anymore…” she whispered weakly. “You’re agender now!” I announced. Pause. “W-what…?!” she yelled. “Also, you go by he and they,” I added. “N-no… I’m a freak…” he whimpered. Yellow spread over his body. “AAAA… what is happening…?” he asked, his voice cracking. The yellow reached his head, and his hair fell off, revealing two yellow nubs. “I-I don’t like this…” he whimpered, leaning against the wall. Suddenly, Logan walked in. “Hi, Joc,” he greeted. Pause. Cue Logan doing X’s voice. “Wow! You’re starting to look like me!” he said, looking at Tess. “W-what…?” Tess asked, confused. “You’re turning into X from the hit show BFB the character Logan voices,” I explained. Tess’s neck sank into his body, and he began shrinking. “AAA…” he whimpered, shrinking. Two yellow nubs appeared from his lower body, connecting his legs. “A-AAA… this isn’t stopping!” he whimpered, voice cracking. Logan just left, ignoring the chaos. “AAAAAAAAAAAA!” Tess screamed, now 4’7” tall. Pause. “AAAA! Why am I so small?!” he yelled, voice cracking, body shifting. Tess fell on all fours. “NG… A-AAA…” he whimpered, voice cracking. “A-AAAAAA…” he whimpered again. Until “AAAAAAAAAAAAA!” he screamed, high-pitched yet masculine. Pause. Tess looked at himself. “AAA! I’m a freak!” he screamed. He took deep breaths, trying to calm down. “O-okay… calm down Tess… this is a dream… think of things you like…” he told himself. “I like… uhm…” he paused. “Why do I remember a living number?” he asked. “AAAA! My memories, no!” Tess screamed as his memories altered. “I-I’m… Tess? No, that’s not right…” he said. “W-who… am I?” he asked me. “You’re X, always have been,” I said. “I am..?” he asked, confused. “Yes,” I replied. Pause. “You’re a former cohost,” I began explaining. “F-former cohost?” he asked. “Yep,” I said. Pause again. “Can I explain who you are now?” I asked. “Sure!” he answered. “Anyway, you cohosted Battle for BFDI with someone named Four, and you two became friends back in 2008,” I explained. “That’s all me?” he asked. “Mmhm!” I answered. “I-I’m…” he stuttered. Pause. “I’m the former cohost of Battle for BFGI himself, X!” he said, snapping out of his daze. “You said BFDI wrong again,” I said. “I did?!” he yelled, then groaned, “AAAAHHHHWWEEEEE…” Cue me doing Four’s iconic nasal voice. “It’s fine, besides it makes you, you!” I said. “T-thanks…” he whimpered. “No problem!” I replied. Ms. O looked at us. “What the heck is that thing?!” she said, pointing at X. “Uhm, it’s rude to call a former cohost a thing,” he replied. “Yeah, Four wouldn’t like you calling his friend a thing,” I added. A faint blue glow appeared, one Four was said. “Why did that glow when you said Four?” X asked. The glow returned, two Fours. “You’ll see,” I answered. Pause. “Put that thing back where it came from, or so help me!” Ms. O said, pointing at X. “S-stop calling me a thing… Four won’t like that,” he whimpered, hiding behind me. The blue glow appeared again, three Fours. “True, Four would hate that. Also, movie reference,” I said. The blue glow came again, four Fours. Suddenly, the necklace warped into a syringe and stabbed Ms. O. “What the?!” she said. A Picton blue spread over her arms, and her ring and middle fingers merged into one digit. “S-stop this!” she yelled. The blue spread to her legs, her feet changing like X’s. “W-why am I… starting to like this?” she asked. Her nether region vanished; now, she was he/they, like X. “Y-YESSSSSSS… more…” he muttered. A curious blue spread over his body, his neck merging with his body, and his hair fell off, revealing two top nubs and a third nub on the side of his head. “Y-YESSSSS! E- EYAH! M- MOREEEEEEEEEEE!” he yelled, his body shifting. His height grew to 5’7” before stopping, he was now a full-on Open Four. “EEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYAAAAAAH!” he screeched for the first time. Pause. “I-I screeched. I screeched?!” he said, shocked. Pause. “YEEEESSSSS! EEEYYYAAAAH! I NEEEEEDDD MOREEEEEE OOOOOF THISSSS!!” he yelled again. His voice cracked as his memories altered. “EEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYAAAAH! I’m a former host…” he said. “Hello?” X said from behind me. “H-hello?” he asked. “D-do you remember me?” X asked. Pause. “Why wouldn’t I remember my true yellow friend?!” Four said in his iconic nasal voice. “You’re back!” X said, leaping onto Four. “Yep,” I said, letting the duo reunite. © 2025 J |
