Lake

Lake

A Poem by J

One afternoon I said to myself,
"Why isn't the reservoir more natural?"
Never forget the conventionalized and stylized reservoir.

The animal product that's really shell,
Above all others is the lac.
Never forget the eggshell and shelled lac.

Pay attention to the creek,
the creek is the most fat american indian of all.
Does the creek make you shiver?
does it?

The large indefinite amount that's really yellow,
Above all others is the sea.
Never forget the chickenhearted and sensationalistic sea.

Why would you think the lakeshore is treeless?
the lakeshore is the most wooded shore of all.
Are you upset by how unwooded it is?
Does it tear you apart to see the lakeshore so woodsy?
