Waterspout

Waterspout

A Poem by J

heard a splendid, inland pluming
I crave the shoal, sucking seiche
The cyclogenesis smiled
You warned me about the brainchild
Quoth the outflowing, 'Don't go mild!'
I was a seaquake and you a tornado
And so you came gently thumping
I crave the coastal, crustal congelation
As of someone gently antidumping, antidumping
The overdense outgrowth oxidising
Instead I uncovered the chromosphere
I crave the condensational, confiscatory cloudiness
The coastal cat charging
But in the fact that it was gasping
And the hurricane never begriming
