Relating the difference between I was and I am .

I was , I am .

Every second steps us out , towards our ultimate destiny ,

But makes a huge difference between me as 

I was , I am 

Was , was a novice ,

with brimming enthusiasm and overflowing joy ,

the joy which takes the edge off and

propel toward the one who is now I am .

Was , was an experience now which makes The

Perfect I am .

Was a dream which is actuality of I am .

Was a unfeasible experience which all belongs to now I am 

More than that It was also a thing which was once a butterfly (hard to catch) for was ,

Is now a reason for yeah !! some more and some again more for I am 

If somehow we could trim this difference of I was and I am ,

Will give a room to flourish and prosper oneness among the youth of 

I was , I am .

I am an old person, so I have come to realize that we are many different things all thru life. We constantly change as our ideas & beliefs meet obstacles & new information. I think it's kind of sweet & innocent the way your poem seems to say it like we are one thing first, then another thing later. I wish it were this simple. But for a younger person, I know it does feel this simple. Even tho you present "who we are" in a simplified way, it's not simplistic writing. You definitely delve into the complexities of trying to be who we want to be, while also retaining who we used to be (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

I was to I am tells me there has been a learning curve. That is good, we are all on a journey and none of us is perfect. We will make mistakes on our way. That is OK in my opinion. That is how we grow and understand ourselves and how we fit into the overall picture. Wisdom comes with age. I have never met yet a wise youth. It takes time.
