Two Types of Wounds

An insincere and evil friend,
Is more to fear,
Than a wild creature.
A creature may wound your body external,
But a friend may wound your mind internal.

An external wound may fully heal,
An internal wound may fully seal.
A wound on the outside may be a nuisance,
A wound on the inside will keep any sense.

An external wound may tear you apart,
An internal wound may break your heart.
Laying cooped up from an external wound,
May have you wishing for a final breath.
Staying alone from an internal wound,
Will give you peace...

In the form of true Death.

Author's Note

A friend gave me a few lines and asked me to write a poem based off them.... and so here it is.

"An insincere and evil friend is more to be feared than a wild animal. A wild animal will wound your body. An evil friend will wound your mind."
