Life Matters?

Forever stuck,
Among this muck,
Fervent dreams,
Sear along seams.

Entitled high,
As they roll by.
Realizing pain,
Without such gain.

Running from life,
Away from strife,
Time recedes,
As do the deeds.

Eternal lying,
No less dying,
One might shatter,

It doesn't matter...
