This pain inside is killing me,
A pain so real it has to be.
More then sight but a feeling of pain,
My tears they fall and flow like the rain.
I sit and I think that this isn’t real,
But the pain is too strong and it makes me feel.
My heart won't stop hurting,
These memories are burning.
They remind me that you are no longer here,
That your simple smile is nowhere near.
You’re no longer there to hold my hand,
To cry with me, teach me, and help me understand.
My thoughts are empty now that you are gone,
A son is lost without his mothers bond.

Awesome poem! I can so relate to missing your Mom, my mother is still alive in a nursing home ate up with Huntington's disease with no soon hopes for a cure, I feel like I need her now more than I ever had in the past it seems and she's just laying there with a glare no way to reach out to give a hug and say it's all going to be ok.... but I know or at least believe that God has a plan for each of us and if this is His will so be it.
