My YouthA Poem by ajellyMy youth, young, wild blue ridge Virginia wilderness Fleeting experiences, innocent, sensitive and free My youth, naïve, sheltered childhood unspoiled by normalcies Flashes of pure joy, running barefoot in long gypsy skirt and chasing my bliss My youth. My youth, down long dusty road, jeans, leather and Connemara Short films riding horses -- my sweet and never tamed -- rescued animal friends My youth, forging a path all my own and taking chances without regard for risk Forging a well-worn path, by edge of a river, cantering at good clip
My youth. My youth, not yours, all mine. Perhaps a bit abnormal, but just fine. © 2016 ajellyReviews
