When things happen..
fated as they are...

do you stage an intervention..
or let the times rule your stride..?

And when you intervene..
tell me-
do they stop by
look you in the eye
stall and do the victory dance..
you the victor..
and they the defeated stand ?

Or do they mock...?
the attempt that went unanswered..

And intervene if you don't...
do you do that coz you are the better judge ?
Or are you afraid of whats coming after..?

do you stand back and watch in
distant detachment as though..
they happen to another soul..?

or do you feel the
numbing pain..?
and let it debilitate all your being?

or are you too shocked
to comprehend..?

Act as you may..
answer me friend...
do they change the frayed soul in you?

If so..for better or for worse?
Or are you seeking an answer too ?..

We must decide what is right and wrong. If we allow things to fall apart and do nothing. We are a part of the problem. Thank you for the thought provoking poetry.

Definitely a question to ponder or many questions to ponder, but I can assure you the answers are out there, sometimes you have to look beyond doubt to find them. Life is not easy but it cn be oh so rewarding.
