The Two-Way Exit

The Two-Way Exit

A Poem by Archishman Rick

What could have transpired here and from what disease,
This utter dissonance is far beyond a tease,
The receiving end of many a crippling blow,
Has rendered defences begging to be let go,
And the motivation that once flew overseas,
Now remains in the cluches of pain induced freeze.
The gravity of the state only the subject would know,
Once their self assured smarts have flown out the window,
Yet the very exit also brings incoming breeze,
Perhaps another quota for eventual ease.
