Goodbye to the Sun

Goodbye to the Sun

A Poem by Arctic Fox
"

self explanitory

"

Since the Dawn of man it has been shining upon us.

Casting its brilliance across the world.

Blazing deserts, shining lakes, and bright meadows glow with its borrowed light.

At times harsh and burning and others soft and warm.

We gather in the night now.

The ever eternal night waiting for our end.

No life grows and all goes cold.

We wait for our light, our hope of Salvation and Life.

Fires grow smaller as the land turns to ash.

Food grows rarer as the night claims more victims.

Where is our light, our sun, our star?

Ah! There it is, engulfing me in its embrace, as I was going to say my goodbye.

Great imagery and vision. Earth sans Sun would definitely suck.
