The shock of initial dive

The shock of initial dive

A Poem by sona

I was the calm water in the sea.

After the heavy storm,
slowly drifting towards the sand;
reaching for the saving grace; towards the beach.

I wasn’t ready for you,
I wasn’t ready when you dove in head first;
disrupting the momentum that I had so hard time creating.

I turned into waves;
crashing into places I wasn’t ready for,
Nervously colliding with disturbances
 that YOU brought in.

Getting back to writing was harder than I thought.
Struggling to bring my thoughts on paper.
Help me perfect it. Thank you.
