May she have mercy on your soul...

You got what you wanted.
Got me to leave.
Got me to question everything.
My faith in love's first kiss.

You got what you needed.
Satisfaction in my pain.
I gave up on you.
I walked away.

You got to play the game.
Got to use up my heart.
Got to stomp on it.
Got to rip it apart.

You'll get what you deserve,
when Karma feels it's time.
Until then I wait it out,

I get the feeling this is written by a woman whose love has been awaken with no intention of respecting and reciprocating that feeling, the author is clearly patient and trying to be mature I think this is a wonderful little piece but the feeling can be portrayed even deeper if you apply yourself.
