Honor Your Father and Mother

Parents are there to guide you and raise you to be a good child
Be grateful for them, for they are instruments of God that gave you life
When you were born into this world, you cried and they smiled
And the same goes for the point in your life when they are to die.

Do not take the presence of your father and mother for granted
For when other people hurt you and leave you, they make you feel wanted
Your mother cooks your meals for you and irons your clothes for church
Your father gives you instruction regarding how to endure.

Obey your parents, honor them as God desires for you to do
Support them and take care of them through bad and through good
Cherish every moment you spend together with your parents
For you never know, tomorrow may be the last day you'll see them again.
