Lifelessly Neverending

Lifelessly Neverending

A Poem by Ariel Olivia
"

Circa 2005, I would have been 15.

"
The brisk breeze made her feel alive
The sunrise -- speechless
Hues of pink & orange
Were full of fall & cinnamon
Her shoes would crunch through the sand
The waves were silently slow
The smell of nature was mellow
Veins of leaves burst with aroma
Sand & rocks felt like home
& The feeling of finding everything so perfect
Was silent
The view from across a lifetime
Was that, of an empty box
Full of wonderful colors
A silent streak of white...
Who was that?
Where were they going?
This lifeless streak... was never ending.
