A Kiss of Greed

I read and watch a bit of romance novels and movies and every now and then there's that one boyfriend/girlfriend or husband/wife that sucks the life right out of you. Here's my view of it.

I live to conspire,

I feed on desire,

 The air that you’re breathing

Comes straight from my lips.

Confine in my prison,

There is no reason,

Your will shall be broken

With the taste of my lips.

My spell you are under,

Shall lead you in wonder,

The life that you’re living

Comes straight from my lips.

Will be you’re demise,

Your heart I have taken

Is torn now in pieces,

Your all I've destroyed all with my lips.

It could not have been more visual or impacting if I were watching it happen in the same room, because the moment of your words painted the scene perfectly onto the canvas of my mind … YES!
I felt as though I was being drawn-in, seduced, rapt in the allure of lips and all they entail, then innocently, undeservedly, raked over hot coals until my punishment for falling made me want no more, that I've lost something I'll never get back.
