AnxietyA Poem by ArmroseAnxiety. It makes you fall apart, It brings you pain, it breaks thine heart. It brings a tremble, shiver, shake, But all of these feel like an earthquake. It's loss of hope, it's absolute sorrow, It makes you fear the day tomorrow. It shatters confidence, can make you shy, Make you ask, oh why, oh why? Anxiety is hungry, starved for affection, It can appear without detection. Anxiety is a virus of the mind, It leaves all self-esteem behind. But anxiety can be beaten, it can be fought, All it takes is an impenetrable thought. I won't be controlled by you anxiety, Because the one in charge is not you, but me. So I'll take a deep breath and live to fight another day, And you, anxiety, you can just go away.
