I should’ve scraped an education

From the brave new Internet

I should’ve lead the revolution

And I should’ve followed rules

I should’ve shunned all institutions

And I should’ve gone to school

I should’ve written papers

I should’ve taken tests

I should’ve told my mother

That she didn’t know best

I should’ve stayed humble

And I should’ve played the fool

I should’ve played football

And I should’ve gone to school

I should’ve played basketball

I should’ve had goals

I should’ve had a wild streak

Or at least some self-control

I should’ve had a girlfriend

And I should’ve been more cruel

I should’ve been a whirlwind

And I should’ve gone to school

I should’ve learned to hunt and fish

I should’ve learned to drive

I should’ve whispered every night

‘It’s good to be alive’

I should’ve relaxed

In an empty swimming pool

I should’ve done my taxes

And I should’ve gone to school

I should’ve lived in Anchorage

And worked on Wall Street

I should’ve learned the language

Of the globalist elite

I should’ve been a wrecking ball

I should’ve been a tool

I should’ve heeded duty’s call

I should’ve gone to school

I should’ve had the decency

To cast off my dreams

I should’ve known that everything’s

Exactly as it seems

I should’ve climbed to Heaven

Using you as my stool

I should’ve always stayed seven
