I would always have dreams of my death or being in a spiritual, liminal space. I really feel your poem is taking me back to that place. It does feel strange. The strange thing is, the dreams of my death aren't even scary, they just felt strange. This piece resonates with me, in that surreal, strange way of dreams and death.

This entails more on reasons and understanding
most times what we fear ain't really fearsome
it all depends on what we know or we have been thought about
Indeed, it is strange if this offering is a true picture of the next life. The last verse offers some degree of hope for those passing over, but most of it remains a mystery.

The fear of death far worse that the real thing. shadows of the mind where nature is more kind. A lovely write that is a bit haunting and dark. Well done my friend
Your poem my friend, had me floating. A spirit in the ether, far away from the grave yard and darkness. Far away from the horrors and into the light. I enjoyed the imagery and the new journey.
