SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!!

Hello everyone! It's my 17th birthday! So here's a poem!

Today I turn seventeen,

a quiet whisper of dawn unfolds,

and love floats in the air,

like petals caught in a gentle breeze.

Each call, each message,

a splash of color

on the canvas of my heart,

a reminder that I am not alone,

that laughter and warmth weave

through the fabric of this day.

In the kitchen, the scent of cake,

frosting swirls like dreams,

glistening in the morning light,

while candles flicker

like all the wishes I dare to hold.

Friends gather,

their eyes shining with secrets

and shared moments,

stories spill out like confetti,

like the bright laughter

we tapestry into our lives.

The world outside may hurry on,

but in this bubble of joy,

time slows,

and I feel cradled

in the embrace of belonging.

Seventeen feels like a soft blanket,

a reminder that I am seen,

my heart swelling with gratitude,

as I gather these cherished moments,

a bouquet of love

that will carry me forward

into the year to come.

But beyond the cake and the confetti,

the smiles, the singing,

is a feeling.
