A Little More Than a Thank-You

I couldn't muster up the words

to tell you this in person

Or even a slight nerve 

to deliver you a letter

Maybe, in a few years

I'll give this to you

I'm not exactly sure what you did

or even what the problem was to begin with

But just having you there

to listen

and commentate

on my life, my thoughts, and feelings

It was nice

and I know we already talked

but I just wanted to give you

a little more than a thank you
