Sinking in quick sand

Sinking in quick sand

A Poem by darkness*star1985

I surrander everything i am,

i will not fight anymore

what is left but the emptiness

all is failed, nothing in me

shell of who i once was

now standing in quick sand

sinking fast into the unknown

maybe this is my punishment

for the wrong i ever done.

Nothing to hold on to

nothing to keep me from

sinking father into the unknown

inch by inch im loseing myself

no time to waste, screaming is pointless,

Just close my eyes and

hope it will be over soon

good bye to you, to us,

under the moon i hold my

breath as the sand quickly

take me under. all is lost

Quicksand would be a bad death. Slow and painful. Life can feel like quicksand sometime. Good reason to never get lock in and have a exit plan. A sad ending to a excellent poem with amazing description.
